Our mission is simple. With over half of Premiership clubs' trips to domestic away games now taken by plane, we want them to stop.
To stop harming the planet and instead start taking these relatively small journeys by coach or train.
Throughout the season Black Boot will be awarded to teams for their 'outstanding contributions to football's carbon footprint', whenever an unnecessary flight is taken.

Picking up the first Black Boot trophy of the season are Manchester City. The team apparently flew back from London after playing Chelsea. The equivalent train journey is just 2hrs 20 by train or 4 hours by coach.
